also big time hell yeah, man. i would love the opportunity to talk to one of my heroes. unfortunately the one i want to meet most, douglas adams, died, so that’s no good. although i just found out mike ‘hellboy’ mignola lives in portland, and bruce campbell lives here in oregon too.
maybe when i hit it big i’ll be able to work with mignola in some capacity at dark horse or something.
Funny thing about Mignola: at last year’s SDCC, he was at one of the booths, and no-one was lining up to talk to him! There were three people there, and it was easy to eavesdrop or butt in if one wanted. He joked that next year the lines would be around the block, and he should enjoy obscurity while it lasts.
You gotta make the journey one of these days.
I love the Rock’s line: “Why don’t you drink a tall glass of shut-up juice?” I think I used it on my ex-husband once…
