When was the last time we had new GNR and Metallica albums in the same year?
Not that this is really the true GNR, any more than Velvet Revolver was. For a band to be truly recognized as “Guns ‘N Roses,” it has to have Axl AND Slash in it, at minimum.

But this past Friday, I was invited, along with several other industry folk, to see some finished footage from the upcoming 3-D stop-motion animated feature CORALINE, based on the children’s book by Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean.
