Hey Luke – I’m no YouTube commentator..but if by Tony ? you meant your Uncle Tone, you are of course jesting! I’m a ‘53 baby..can still enjoy that style of video – but associate the “bitch” line with the “comics” in the UK who get laughs from their “fucks” and “cunts” and seem to litter their stand-up acts for this Pavlovian ? effect..
Well, that was my association…but in a small way..that’s what hit me….I enjoyed the acting, didn’t get the…beef.

culture is fracturing into ever smaller and more age divided camps – but that may not be a bad thing…
there was a good TV drama based on the work on proving Einstein by fellow scientist Eddington the other week – would no doubt be totally lost on anyone under 30 – possibly many more.
The probable future loss of the quoted current cultural reference points fills me with hope, whereas the loss of some past aspects (including manners) fills me with sadness.

I came to your video from reading a numbing news piece about the US military’s legacy in Laos..I appreciate it reads out of the blue.
I see a little of the cultural context…but – think I’ll give up on accessing this one.
I don’t know if there are more “age-divided camps”…or how far today’s generation gaps are any more profound than yesterday’s.
The large scale reduction in deference (praised in these columns by my lovely Pa) has also seen SOME continuity in respect between the “camps”.
