“Dylanesque” lyric – “I can split the atom of a molecule…”
which grates like “the wind howls like a hammer…”
doesn’t get my vote as a pop song, but the animation was good.
Then I throw down — what was the best pop song of 2008? Not best song, but best POP song?
Anyone may answer.
That’s a good contender, at the very least. I want to bust out some really amazing counter-suggestion, but I got nothin’.
I’m too ignorant of current pop to judge…but I thought this was based around a good/important idea. It started well and was cleverly developed. Seemed to have a great deal more to it than songs I connect with pop.
