glad they got spike jones to do this – For me its a book I read to my children, rather than one I was ever a child reading, but I always liked it a lot, I hope the movie doesn’t disappoint, but the drawings and the brevity of the language are what made the book for me, and I doubt I will be watching it before it comes on the main stream TV
Finally! A movie based on one of my favorite books as a child! I’m with you when I also hope the movie does the book justice. So far, the trailer is good enough. The animated cartoon I saw a decade later as a teen kept with the simple essence of the book.
With other childhood books about adventures through imagination such as “Harold and The Purple Crayon,” I can’t wait to revisit Max’s imagination and don that wolf costume again just to see old friends I left since childhood…
