Links of the week

I’ve been thinking that since not every reader of this site follows me on Facebook (seeing as how I’m selective about friending people there), it might be worthwhile if I posted some of the links here that I’ve posted there. It’s so much easier to do there that I haven’t been linking as much on the blog, and some of you may be missing out. So this post is the first in a series of probably irregular posts collecting the links I’ve shared on Facebook and/or Twitter in any given period. Here goes:

-The Ultimate Warrior expresses himself on health insurance, basically saying out-of-shape people deserve to die.

-Roy Edroso rounds up the reactions of right-wing bloggers comparing Obama’s school speech to Hitler.

-Screenwriter Josh Olson tells people who think they can write that he will not read their fucking script.

-On a similar topic, Creep Creepersin gives aspiring actors some basic lessons in professionalism.

-I reviewed a movie called INK for LA Weekly.

-I also reviewed Tyler Perry’s newest for E!

-The real-life “Norma Rae” just died of cancer because her insurance delayed treatment.

And to play us out, one of the greatest movie monologues ever…

  • I’m not sure if you care, but there are ways that wordpress can auto-magically post facebook/twitter/myspace type stuff to this blog. Either using a sidebar (like the Tweets section in the right column) or some other magical thing.

Although perhaps doing it yourself allows for editing.
