OUR FIRST ADVERTISER
Don't worry, we ain't gettin' all crazy with it. Sideshow Toys contacted me out of the blue, and asked if we'd be interested in their ads. As a toy collector, I am of course familiar with Sideshow, and feel that they do good work. And they suggested that I might get free toys out of the deal.
So you can see the first such ad on the left hand side of the page. Let me know if you find it too annoying for words.
I will never take ads from known right-wing political organizations (though I reserve the right to advertise personal blogs by conservative-leaning friends), nor from companies I know to be inferior. My guiding principle here is whether I think my readers would be interested.
Also I've shelled out quite a bit of money for this site and make no money from it. So it won't hurt to get a little back.
