Gahhh! Fuckin' weather!
I know some of y'all reading from afar don't believe me when I say it's cold here in Los Angeles.
But it is. There has been FROST here. And this only two days after it was 80 degree t-shirt weather.
Now, some of you will say, "Ah, big deal, frost. We got snow." But dwellings out here are not built to handle cold. They're built to let it in as much as possible, and not change in temperature until days after the weather has changed. It's not quite as awful as the summer heatwave, because you can ameliorate the effects, like by walking around the house in winter coats.
But it still sucks. And drastic temperature changes in short periods of time are not good for anybody's health.

Believe me -- coming from a former Chicagoan -- when I say that it is WINTER here! (Sans the snow...) I haven't felt this type of frezzing cold since leaving the Blizzard of 1980 in the Windy City. This entire weekend, I was wearing winter gloves!!! And, forget the thermal long johns. I was wearing my jogging pants inside my Levi jeans! Don't just believe the native Angelenos here, believe someone who knows what the brittle cold truly feels like!!! IT'S COLD HERE -- especially if you live near the hills and mountains like I do....

I don't imagine it's that different in London, to be honest! I've done UK winters, and this feels like a bit of that.

This seems like an exact pull from my blog... weather = my sickness recently, etc.
I actually noted in my blog that people would call me a wuss from thinking is was cold.
It's like the fucking twilight zone in this bitch.
