LYT LEAVING LOS ANGELES
I'm moving to Santa Ana. If anyone can help me find a place there, please do.
That is all.

Are you going to have a big moving sale? Because you'll be rich if you do!
Posted by: ReJeKt at March 1, 2007 9:30 PM
Is this serious?
Posted by: Matthew at March 1, 2007 10:57 PM
I am, yes. Serious, that is. No moving sales planned as yet.

Haha... you will join us in the suburbs... join us...

Why are you moving there when you haven't secured a place to stay? I'll see what I can find...
Santa Ana...that's a long way from No Shame, Hollywood, Amoeba's, etc....

Here are two links to educate you about the City of Santa Ana:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santa_Ana,_California
http://www.ci.santa-ana.ca.us/
It is located south of Los Angeles and in the Orange County area...or what is known in popular culture as "The OC."

Is this related the reality tv show? Is Luke going to be the new co-lead on Santa Ana: Nights?
Posted by: ReJeKt at March 2, 2007 2:32 PM
Oh God! Please make all references to "The OC" stop!!!!
Luke, on a more serious note, I can't help you find a place to stay (at least, not off the top of my head, but I'll look into it), but I can help you move if you need help moving. Lemme know.

Offpat,
Santa Ana is the county seat for Orange County, approximately 40 miles south of Los Angeles (depending on your route). And, as a bit of completely useless trivia that shows you what kind of mind I have, Harpo Marx married his wife in the historic Santa Ana courthouse.
And in another bit of trivia, I live and work about 2 cities away (Orange is in between most of Santa Ana and Anaheim).
Dark side, indeed! :P

thanks guys
I did drive to Anaheim once when over there in 75 - it all seemed to be part of the one big flat city to me...

There is a reason they call it 'behind the Orange Curtain'! Brrrr - scary place (except for that oasis of fun 'Disneyland.')

My wife works in Huntington Beach.
And, I use to work in Anaheim three years ago but, the commute was killing me. Tall signs like a rock smashing into my front windshield, flat tires, traffic congestion on both sides of the 5 Freeway to and from work made me left my job of 6 years...
And, in the summer months, I love going down there -- most especially, Newport Beach. Ahh...good times.
So, there are many good things to enjoy as well as discover in Orange County...

It's not as if I'm leaving cyberspace, Mario. And since that's the only venue we know each other in, there's still ample opportunity to kick around.
I don't know anyone in the Valley.
