Peter Jackson, Steven Spielberg, and Tintin
I'm curious what you all think of this. Tintin is huge in Europe, and I grew up loving the books, but I never got the sense he's much of a big deal in the U.S.
Do you care that there are three movies coming? I imagine it'll do better than the last big-budget French cartoon adaptation, DOOGAL (a.k.a. THE MAGIC ROUNDABOUT), but how much better?

I have no idea. I remember getting stuck in a bookstore/comic shop/classroom at one point and ending up reading like three Tintin collections and really, really liking them, but I don't know if a movie gets my pulse pounding all that much and I don't know how many other people are even that familiar...

I'm tremendously excited about the news, and am anxiously awaiting news of which comics will be adapted. I hope Red Rackham's Treasure/Secret Of The Unicorn are among the three...and maybe the moon stories too.
