Harvey Keitel is doing Gatorade commercials?
Relax, I'm not going to accuse him of selling out. I'm sure he needs the money for prostate treatments.
I just wonder who decided that he should be the poster boy for a sports drink. True, he looks like he needs to hydrate more often, but I'm not sure he reaches the target demographic.

well, it seems like he's playing a very standard character for him - the evil mobster looking guy acting like some sort of odd "devil on your shoulder" kind of thing.
But is the idea that Gatorade is some creepy evil guy in a suit whispering to you during the game? That's a little... disturbing.

just watched keitel along with richard pryor in paul schrader's great 70's flick "blue collar".
i think of keitel playing more working class, or thinking class, characters than "evil" people in his career, though he's played a few tough fellas. he has an amazing reach as an actor. he's far more than a character thug.

I doubt Gatorade were thinking of his "heroic" portrayal of Judas Escariot in The last temptation of Christ - or the sleazy child-prostituting pimp of Taxi Driver - or Bad Lieutenant, or... the list of non Gatorade friendly characters is long isn't it...

But Sport the child pimp was a paragon of strong health and virtue! And a helluva dresser.
