George Lucas just made sweet, sweet love to my youth
Everything you've heard is true, except for the "sucking" part. This movie made me very happy.
Uppity nerds, George and Steve just earned a reprieve, whether you wish to acknowledge it or not.
More to come on Wednesday.

Ohhh, so we still like *some* nerdy movies.

Why would you think I didn't? Just because I didn't love Speed Racer?

Eh, that was probably snarky after your post this AM. Sorry.

Hm, and now I should've hit refresh before re-posting.
Ahem.
Why would you think I didn't? Just because I didn't love Speed Racer?
You were pretty hard on it. That and Prince Caspian, though I admit I haven't seen it yet. More of a tone thing, I guess. Complaining about pet Monkeys (;)) and the proper names of Minotaurs. Came off as 'too cool for school'.

Yeah! I am SO looking forward to this one!

David, I said Prince Caspian was the weakest of the books, and the adaptation reflected that, and as such was appropriate. That's not a pan.

I dunno. Many critics are saying that this Indiana Jones lacks the romanticism, wit and character developments.
My biggest fear is that this Indiana Jones will have all the CGI the movie will give you. This is disappointing...just remember the latest sequel to DIE HARD.
Nevertheless, I will see it anyway.

The last sequel to Die Hard was actually the best of the Die Hard sequels, IMO. Still not a patch on the original, but the other sequels were really quite mediocre.

Ok, I saw Indy 4 this past Saturday. And, I do have something to say about it. But, I will comment it on my MySpace blog first later tonight as I allowed the experience sunk in a bit...and after doing a lot of research on the crystal skulls...that for some reason, I may either have ignored its relation to UFOlogy. But, that's besides the point.
Later, on my blog tonight of my thoughts on the film...
