Village Voice reviews Wicked Lake

Nothing positive to say. But it'll probably be the only review that singles me out.

Though calling me a "former" contributor just might be wistful thinking...

Luke Y. Thompson makes us proud as "Half-Idiot," a publicly masturbating redneck who pisses himself.

Change that to the past tense and I think we have your perfect future obituary.

If I can make you proud for something, my life will have been worth it.

Wait - I may have missed something - but is the movie PLAYING in New York right now?!

Ben - it opens Friday for a week at the Pioneer Two Boots.

Nice! My favorite theater in the East Village! It's got a pizza parlor in the front that sells incredible eggplant parmagiana slices. A+ stuff.
Now that I think about it, the last film I saw there before I moved away from New York was Troma's "Terror Firmer."

Nothing positive? Are you kidding? I would see the movie if all I knew of it came from this review!
